    If you want to stop and spend an hour on a good meal, try the Neches River Wheelhouse in Port Neches. Check out the link to their website.
    It's a slight detour south of I-10 off of Hwy 73 before Vidor / Beaumont. 73 will get you back on I-10 in Winnie.

    I could probably find it since I spent 25 years in the area and a Buddy of mine has a waterfront house a couple of blocks south of there. Probably take a good GPS to get there from I-10.

    Sounds like a fishing trip could be in order at some point. I've been out on Sabine lake a couple of times for "team building exercises". It was a great way to spend a day. 

    What did you do in the area? We operate an Ethane line and make deliveries to several of the plants.

    I don't know that you need a good GPS, it's really pretty easy and worth finding too. Here lately, my tool of choice is an IPhone 6 with AT&T service. It is off the beaten path, but not very far.

    I worked in one of the chemical plants on the west side of Port Arthur for 23 years. Worked in the Goodyear plant on I-10 for 3 years prior to that.
