Helped a Chevy Guy

Just outside Vidor Texas(to the East) We got the word a Guy with a real purdy Black & Silver 56 Chevy 2Dr Sedan was having problems and to be on the look out fer him.  Parked in the "Flying J Fuel Stop w/Denny's"  in Orange Texas, we found him and Miss Shirley.

6s6 had pronounced the Chebby seemed to be having tranny issues back in Wimberly, which had by this time matured into heavy loss of Trans Fluid when in OD. Don Sellers was in a position well known by MSBDB Road Trippers(see above photo) Several hours of Don working with Tubo assisting only proved Don would have to Trailer the rascal home for repairs.
We did prove that our Mini CooperS, even when fully provisioned with Karol & my gear, still would accomodate two more full sized adults and 1 travel bag. Though definately not a second travel bag. 7 hours or so later and a superb dinner at "Prejean"s Cajun Restraunt" in Lafayette, the Sellers family was home with guests for the night arrived safely in Laurel Miss.
Don returned today with his truck and a car trailer to bring the  56 home. While Karol & I continued to Ft Walton Beach.
Thus for  us another Epic BASH ended.

Re: Helped a Chevy Guy

Just another day in the world of hotrods and friends. Thanks to Tubo and Carol for making  a potentially bad situation nothing more than an opportunity for more quality time with friends.I retrieved the old heap and it is safely back home where repairs will be made. Thanks to all for a great weekend at the bash and especially for the assistance from them Tubos for getting home.

There is no "I" in team but there are 5 in individual brilliance.
