Aluminum master cylinder Part number PB-6.2. What port is the front?

I am finally getting to plumbing the brakes in my project.  I'm using the PB-6.2 aluminum master cylinder with metric bubble flare fittings.  The front port uses a 10mm nut, the rear port uses a 12mm nut.  The question is which port goes to which brakes?

Front port to front brakes - rear port to rear brakes?
or...
Front port to rear brakes - rear port to front brakes?

Thanks,
Peter

The forward port goes to the rear brakes. The mc you have there... was it purchased from MustangSteve?
It is the wrong one and would be better if replaced. If we sold it, it can be exchanged for correct on having 10mm threads on both fittings.

Re: Aluminum master cylinder Part number PB-6.2. What port is the front?

I'm about 95% sure it was purchased from Mustang Steve about a decade ago.

I've got the 12mm bubble flare nut to use on 3/16" line, so it isn't a big deal unless there is something else different about it.

Thanks!

That mc is designed for cars with traction control option. Not sure what internal parts might be different, but there must be some since they use different fittings and part number. We have never sold that particular master cylinder. The sloped tank akes me think it is probably some other master cylinder. The 2000 Mustang uses a tank with a flatter top.
