Bradster's diagram of CVR mod to solid state

Can't seem to find the picture or diagram that Bradster made years ago on how to mod the old bi-metallic CVR to a new solid state unit. Anyone know of or have a copy? I've looked on this site and on MS's site, but can't find a copy.

That will get the job done, Ron, and it will look like stock if anyone looks butt (TS&T) I think this is a better way.  I built two of these and used one on the fuel gauge and one on the temp/oil.  With that setup I was able make the fuel gauge work more accurately and get the temp and oil to read near center scale under normal conditions.  Easy and cheap.

Scroll down and use the schematic for the Adjustable regulator.

Re: Bradster's diagram of CVR mod to solid state

Ok I'm remembering.   The ones I made years ago were like James W.   LM 7805.    Except I didn't pop rivet the regulator to to metal case, I heated and soldered the case from the outside with a mini torch.   So that the metal case itself was the heat sink.   They must have worked, the various ones I gave to people never got complaints.

I've collected a few more cases since then on the different dashes I collected for my Galaxies.  I need one for my convertible.  Sorting out the gas gauge.

Thanks guys!

If multiple things can go wrong, the one that will go wrong will be the one that causes the most damage.
