I bought a used 2014 V6 Premium, and it didn't come with the purchase window sticker.
I was wondering if there PutLocker was a way to see what options were selected on my car versus what the previous owner may have modded? Also, I love Ford's "Build and price" web biased flash program, however I can't find one that works for previous years (Way back machine wasn't helpful).
It's a long shot, but does anyone know of a way to get previous years to work?

You can write Ford and get the window sticker that you see at the dealer. I got one from them on a 2007 F150 I bought when it was 4 years old. I think I wrote to the historical or archives department, don't remember. They apologized that they didn't have the original format any more.

I know when you take a Mustang to trade it in, the VIN supplies all the data to the dealer so they know what options the car has. I think MAYBE a CarFax might also tell you, even though they are totally worthless for telling the car's damage or repair history, or just about anything else, for that matter.
I would run it by your local Ford dealer's used car lot and have them look it up.

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
