What are the proper clips/fasteners to attach the rear hardline to the trans tunnel? I used the same type of screws that are used to hold the front brake line tabs to the firewall and the point of the screws protrude about a 1/4" above the floor, guaranteed to poke a hole through any carpet.

Well, after a short hiatus from Mustang work while I was coaching Spring sports, I finally have a little time to get back in the garage.
I still need to resolve the problem of the location of my rear brake hose bracket and was wondering if anyone one can provide me with some exact measurements of where the bracket needs to go? My car is an early car and doesn't have the "L" shaped indentation to use as a guide.
I think I am in the right general spot in terms of left and right, but it is the vertical measurement that I need. Right now, the bracket is mounted too high and the hard line from the master brake line hits the cross brace at the top when I try to bend it down into the bracket to connect it to the rear brake hose.
If anyone could post a pic with a tap measure showing how far down from the top the bracket is mounted, I would appreciate it.
Thanks!
