it has been a very, very long time since I worked on drum brakes. to compound things there are part missing. so in my quest to get the rear brakes done all new parts were purchased. does the short shoe go towards the front on both side of the car? I really don't remember the drums being this difficult to get together. after all when I took the drums off the adjusters fell out. pictures? sites?

I still have drums in the rear, I still pull up pictures because I forget where the springs go

Worth noting, the self adjusters are side specific, and typically marked R and L. If they go on the wrong wheel bad things happen. Just a reminder. This is the kind of stuff I find I forget when going back to drums, which I also had cause to do on two vehicles today. Ah, the stuff I do for friends...
