Under dash AC leaking fitting

Had trouble with the flare fitting leaking on my under dash ac unit, only flare fitting left on the car was on  the low side of the evaporator, found some cone shaped washers on ebay put 1 on, and it fixed the problem.

Yes in sizes 6, 8, 10, and 12 fittings

Just FYI, a flat copper washer accomplishes the same thing, becoming conical as the fitting is tightened, in case you can't find a pre-shaped one.


Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

I've had good luck with flared AC fittings using Nylog
