Steve brake conversion

Is there any advantage to have Steve's brake pedal modification if I am not going with power brakes. I have a 65 auto V8 mustang. I am using a 15/16 dual master cylinder with disc brakes on all 4. Thanks, Chad.

Re: Steve brake conversion

From what I know, the pedal mod is to reduce the manual pedal ratio to the proper ratio for boosted brakes...so you don't throw everyone through the windshield.  So...I would think that  with the 15/16 MC and manual ratio pedal you should be good to go.

Oh, and welcome to the best place on the web.  Hope you have a long and pleasant stay.

Re: Steve brake conversion

If manual brakes, do not mess with the factory pedal ratio.   If your 15/16" mc does not bottom out, all should be great.
