New axle ends & brake question

Hello,
I'm taking a (99) Explorer rear end, 8.8, and looking to have new axle ends welded on ( http://www.dutchmanaxles.com/billet-housing-ends.html ) I'm looking at the "New style" large-bearing 9" ends.

I have a set of brakes from a 2014 Mustang GT that I am hoping to use with this rear. As best I can tell, the MustangSteve's kit =18pxGT2008-RLG would allow me to do this. Does that look right to you guys? I've made a few blunders in ordering things that did not fit and am hoping to avoid doing it again!

btw - All of this will be going under my '66 notchback with a EFI 302 soon.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: New axle ends & brake question

New style 9" flanges with 3.150" bearings will work with Gt2008-RLG brackets when retrofitted to 8.8" rear ends.  Be sure the bolt pattern on the housing ends are horizontal when installed, not at an angle. Also be sure the axles have 2.50" brake gap, not 2-3/8".

Re: New axle ends & brake question

OK,  now there is a new website (looks WAAAAY better by the way) but I do not see the part #'s and actually don't see the brake kit I was hoping to buy (for 2014 GT 13.2" brakes). Is this still available? Is the info on the website incorrect? Little help?

Re: New axle ends & brake question

Scroll down the main page until you see the bold title FRNT DISC BRAKES.  Click on the pic below that title, showing the front disc brake kits. Then scroll down to the kit that fits 05-11 GT fron disc brakes onto v8 Mustang drum brake spindles (NOT MII spindles).  Click on that link and you will then be on the page and product you want, and it should show the GT2008-FT part number.
I disagreed with the way the new web designer set that up, but you did say you liked it way better!❤️

Re: New axle ends & brake question

Thanks, Mike! I am the same guy that called earlier too - didn't realize that was an option until I'd already written on here. Looks like you added the info I was searching for now too. Thanks again for the help and I'll get my order in soon.

Best,
