Ok, so today I dove in with both feet. Borrowed a killer digital Longacre gauge from a friend. Figured out how to use it. Made a 15* template to set caster and went at it. First problem was getting the uca to back out after loosening the nuts. I had to jack up the car, pry out the uca and let the car back down, bounce it a few times and install the shims. Next I went from -1.3 camber to + .4. I know what I did so I quit for the night because it was dinner time. Not for me but the mosquitos that have taken up residence in my garage. I've got a month to get this done so I'm still optimistic.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
