2018 BASH XV Date Announced

The MustangSteve 2018 BASH will be September 15, 2018 at the Paluxy Heritage Park in Glen Rose, TX.  Hotel will be the Holiday Inn Express with rates of $109 per night for those admitting to the fact they are with the MustangSteve group.

The park is a great place to chill out with plenty of room and a covered pavilion, plus you can check out some dinosaur tracks along the Paluxy River.

This post will be moved to the BASH FORUM after a few days to make sure everyone sees it.

Better be a Mustang, even if I have to trailer one there. Mine is fixed now, but surprises can always happened.

Cool Gary. We'll have to pick a rendezvous spot, maybe Armadillo.

Re: 2018 BASH XV Date Announced

Oh man...hate it but the fact is that Mrs. and Mr BB won't be there this year.  We were planning to go to Ur-up to celebrate our 50th anniversary but I found out they won't let me take my .45 over there.  So...we decided to take a six to eight week travel trailer trip around the east end of the good ol' USA.  We are leaving in mid-August and will be somewhere along the east coast at Bash time.   We sure hope you all have a grand time and we will be seeing y'all in '19.

Well crap. Since yous gonna miss the bash I guess the wife and I need to head to SW Colorado (.45 in hand) and hook up with you. Now I have not talked with C about this but I'm thinking late May or early June we head SW with the Fiver in tow and visit.

I'm serious, we be coming and I will have my .45.

Re: 2018 BASH XV Date Announced

The rest of March, all of April and May should be good, Gary but June is gonna be real busy around here.  July will probably be good and we will be pulling out on Aug., 8.  Give a holler and check in first as we may be heading toward Parker sometime between now and May, gotta see those grand babies.

We have a decent range nearby so maybe we will bust a cap.

RPM;  I knew you was just jerkin' my chain, Bob.  You will notice that I never mentioned YOUR troubles.  LOL

Have a great Bash cruise and maybe we can hook up for 2019.

Re: 2018 BASH XV Date Announced

Do not know if flaming pony  and lady pony will be at the bash this year even though is only a 5 hour drive for us ,we found out that we are going to be grandparents twice over this fall .Our first grand child is due between the 1st and the 15th of September and second grand child is due between the 25th of October and the 4th of November. Side note Bullet Bob your right about what you told me when we talked in FWB.

Can't wait.

Re: 2018 BASH XV Date Announced

Looks like you are right 50vert, You reminded me to reserve our room. The non MS Bash room is exactly $100 more. I'm not spending $100 a night to sleep. I got a room at the Quality INN around the corner. For 20 more a night.

Re: 2018 BASH XV Date Announced

Lodging cost is one reason we started the 5th wheel camper thing this year. All the comfort of home and a little more affordable to stay in one area for a time.

The down side
Internet is very limited (if any), and a new transmission (ouch).

Our hotel room may be available. Not sure what's going on, or where we might be.
