Just a mere 2,275 miles from home. At the rate I get things done on the Mach, I better start soon.

Re: 2019 Bash Date Selected

Wow..!  Jenny and I are really bummed out. These new dates kill the trip for us. We have to be in Houston over that week for an event that is required for Jenny’s business.

Super super sad about not getting to see you guys in 2019. This would have been 4 years in a row..!

Re: 2019 Bash Date Selected

Any chance the 2020 Bash will be closer to the West Coast? Assuming I get the Pony's overheating under control I'd like to be there.

I believe most of you folks are in the mid to southern parts of our Great Land, so I'm not betting money on that happening.

OK...now I know this site is peppered by friends of ex#2....she was always ragg'n on me to be more social.

Actually my place could hold an event...5 acres in a rural area. Lot's of parking for Horses (the car type, although folks have the other kind around here).

But my conscience couldn't allow it to happen...the idea of breaking up all the marriages or getting bush-wracked by a jealous husband is just too much to bear.

Re: 2019 Bash Date Selected

Thanks 50vert....BB had mentioned it when I first got here (before he knew what a s___ a___ I was. But as I mentioned, a 5k round trip time-wise, is not doable for me this year. It does look like they're fun get-togethers, hopefully I can go next year.

If you tell me that you're flying in from Down-under, I KNOW that it'll be worthwhile attending.

Re: 2019 Bash Date Selected

This'll be the sixth Bash we've been to. If there was a bridge, I'd even take a car.
Gotta fly out on Sunday, but I will get to visit a coupla forum members beforehand.
