Ordered one! Hope it's a year before I can make a review. That means it must be working good! Originals are hard to find. THANKS!!!

No time is a good time for something like this. With 22 years and over 80K hard miles, don't sound like a build problem. Hope you get at least that out of the next one.

I had a 10-year-old Vega that I kept patching to keep it on the road for college. While working under the dash a gold high school ring fell out from under the dash.

Is there a way to put a USB port inside the cigarette lighter and hide it by putting the lighter back inside. The USB would only be exposed when removing the lighter as needed and hid when not in use.

I think I have what you want. But mine has the common tab rotted off. If you want it's yours. The only difference is mime has # C5ZB-13100-13 not C5ZB-1300-B. It does say RH.

Very cool! I'm sure bob helped me on here a few times. He also gave me some inner fender pieces for my 66 Fairlane when I was at his bash. He had a build car and a parts car. Shame he never got that done. Great way to pay tribute. I'll be sending an envelope.

| FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » 12 volt AC 68 Mustang » 1/02/2026 10:20 PM |
Using a 12 volt compressor is absolutely the last thing you would ever want to do. Power is always lost every time you convert it, there is nothing that can convert power at 100% or more. So if you put a A/C pully compressor on a car you will lose HP. If you put an electric compressor on a car, you lose HP creating electric then you lose more power turning electric into compression for the A/C.

How bout Warner Robbins ?! Sound familiar ?

Mike that's where I think it was, Warner Robbins. She served in the military and when she got out pumped gas as a civilian putting gas in airplanes $15 an hour. I said I was making $2.65 an hour for cars.

I am working on it I kinda wanna check on a few things before I present it...I was really wanting to travel some where like the Tennese Mountains, Charleston, Ft.Walton, somewhere I aint been maybe. But if nobody wants to I will try to get something up its kinda hard for me to get off work to go on some of the more awesome places without flying. Actually my Favorite Bashes are the ones in Texas. I know I am rambling but just trying to get people to thinking.
Billy, I never met you but would love too. I have a sister in Georgia and that would be perfect. Just saying!

Free is always good, especially when it's useful. My wife has a tendency to get free stuff that I have to throw away later.
Brahahaha 🤣
Yes, free is good indeed. Specially a transmission jack. A few years back after swapping transmissions ever full moon, I decided to get a transmission jack. If you've never used one, they are better than sliced bread. Next time I went to use it, I could not find it anywhere. Axed my son if he knew where it was, nope. Did you take it somewhere or loan it to someone, nope. Fine, guess I'll go buy another one.
A couple of months later a friend of my son's who he met at welding school pulls up to the house. She walks up to me in the garage carrying a transmission jack. Whatcha got there? Oh Kurtis loaned me his jack a while back. Cool.
The big thing there is "SHE" LOL When I was young, I use to put the transmission under the car and lift it on my chest and put it in. Never did an auto that way.
