Nice work!

Our first bash was Montrose in 2016. Bullet was the first Basher I met and also the host. We have caravaned with Bullet to most of the bashes since that day. As a member of the Crazy 8's text group we have shared a lot of laughs and some sadness.

I'll miss his smile and his comradery.

Steve was a good guy and he will be missed. Condolences to the family.

Aviation oil has a shelf life. I don't remember what it is but close to 5 years if I recall correctly. Something about the additives degrading over time.

Your 70 coupe looks great. Bring it to the next bash. 

What a wonderful bash even if it was in the traffic jam capital of the world. We miss everyone already.

Some Stats:
2233 Total miles driven.
115.7 Gallons of gas sucked down by the little 289 that could.
19.3MPG average.
Only issues were vapor lock after sitting in Fort Worthless traffic for 45 minutes in 97F heat. Thought it happened again after dinner Thursday night. Twas wrong, it turned out to be an ignition problem where the points were open just a tad too far. Got it fixed and the trip home was painless.

They was fashioned for the 393 tall block and other items in the way so fitment does not surprise me. I was wondering hows they was gonna fit.
