Sump Plug

At my next oil change, I am wanting to purchase a copper washer/gasket and fit it to my sump plug. Can anyone tell me what size washer/gasket I would need to purchase?

Re: Sump Plug

My parts store carries a packet of different sizes of copper washer.  Try yours.

I might need to look around, because I am only seeing packets of specific sizes.

Re: Sump Plug

Typically it is a 1/2” bolt, but after 50+ years of use and modifications, I would hesitate to go buy one based on that info.
