Stupid question

On 64-67 drum hubs, are they the same as 64-67 disc hubs

To the best of my knowledge, yes that is the case. Disc used an extra mounting bracket for the calipers and backing plates.

In 68 they redesigned the disk application and the spindles became unique for disc. The drum spindles are the same in 68 as 67 drum/disc.

No, the hubs are totally different on 64-67 disc or drum brakes.  The drum mounts to the hub on the outside of the hub.  The rotor mounts to the hub on the inside of the hub.  The SPINDLES are the same, but hubs are different.


Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Sorry, I should have read his question more closely. I was thinking entirely of the spindle in my response.
