Re: Novi Rick, are you planning on driving to the BASH??

Sounds like fun and not too bad distance wise but...

Pressed for an answer today I would have to say no.  I just don't have enough confidence in the car yet.  That tie rod end coming loose was a set back (mentally).  I have yet to drive it for more than about 30-40 miles round trip. Still have a coolant leak, trans leak, rattles and other assorted issues to deal with.  Need a jack and a spare. Tires are more than 4 years old.  I would not want to commit and then pull out and leave someone high and dry.

Right now the car looks good but its pretty much all show and no go (far).

If I can get all the bugs worked out with adequate time to make arrangements, we'll see.

Thanks for the invitation.

Rick PM Droptop73, he is in Michigan too.
See if Y'all can get together for some mutual support. Having a travel Buddy may help gain some confidence for the drive.
One way or another get that rascall runing.

Re: Novi Rick, are you planning on driving to the BASH??

wife says we can go but I'm not sure I can get the time off work to do it.  If we do go, we are coming in from Cincinnati, Ohio.. So the drive isn't to long.  I'm confident the car would make it, since its been a daily drive all summer.
