Anyone try one of the Progression Ignition distributors? You can adjust timing and curves on the fly with an app. Look pretty cool, I could see them being handy.

I do not have this ignition system, it does look pretty cool ... I wonder what won't you be able to do with a smart phone in the future.

What if some dude in Russia hacks your phone, cranks up the timing and wants bit coin to get you mobile?😂

Make a phone call.
Looks kinda like the next step past the adjustable timing potentiometers on distributor base.
I would be concerned about being able to connect on next phone updates or app updates…kinda like the old desktop CPU’s with program updates.
Pretty soon…”Hey Siri change rpm limit to 8k”

I too am suspicious if "Progression Ignition" will still be supported 2, 5 or 10 years down the line. That being said I have a small mountain of cash tied up in a full MSD setup that is pretty bulletproof, and I could always put the MSD system back on if needed. This seems like one of those patent ideas where if they get tired of producing it themselves Holley / MSD would gladly gobble them up.
The timing table flexibility with the progression ignition setup is pretty awesome. I will probably end up with one when I stop bleeding cash on other things. If I get one I'll report. Just the black magic it offers with cranking vs idling timing interests me.
