Holley Power Valves article

I wanted to know how the Holley power valve works and found this article.

They certainly know more about it than I do!
I must have missed the part about sizing the power valve, other than half of idle vacuum is a good starting point.  Only thing I got from that is you have to drill/change vacuum restriction to properly tune,

Tuning pv is a balance between jetting and pv size and squirters to get it to work right across all rpm ranges.  Nice when you are done, but can be a -oh no I used a word I shouldn't have- getting there!


Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Noticed short videos clips from Holley as well Quick Fuel that can really help out tuning.

Back in the 90’’s this information was difficult to find.
