The one I saw was hanging really low on the passenger side.  Not sure that was practical.

Check Vintage Air, they may offer an option for the compressor to be mounted on the passenger side.

I used a modified two belt serpentine system from an '89 Standard 5.0 (Crown Vic, TC, Merc, etc).

Just seems it would look better on passenger side where all the hoses go into the firewall.

So you're saying your compressor is on the right side Bob?

Yup.  HO is on the left, Standard uses two belts and AC is on the right.  I modified the brackets to move the compressor up and in a bit.  Balanced the look way better and the compressor is not as close to the battery. (I have a 67 right front apron so the battery sets N/S).

If I could pist a pocture I wood.

I just think it would be better to have the hoses on the side they go in the fire wall.

Re: Moving A/C compressor to passenger side how have some of yall did it?

Depends where the a/c hoses connect on evaporator.

Factory 65 is by gas pedal and 66 is in center.

Classic Auto Air daily driver under dash is by gas pedal.

I agree, passenger side would have been better.
