Big FE motor with carbs and a 6-71
New Godzilla with a Whipple, lots of blah blah so the link takes ya to 2:24 ish
Not claiming one is better than the other, just neat to see the two.

Welp............maybe it's because I don't have one butt................a big FE with a snotty idling camshaft and of course dual quads (tunnel ram or not!) still makes my BP jump a few points!!
4.6 'anything'..Cayote(or not) just makes me stare into la-la-land as it make twice the HP of the FE....sorry young guys and tuners!

What's cooler than a blown 427 FE? But damn, that Godzilla makes crazy low rpm power.

I love the whine of a 6-71 and the ground shaking rumble of a bog block but a GT 350’s 5.2 with a flat plane crank’s banshee like screaming at wot sure is an attention getter.😱

My first impulse was to back my chair away from my desk in case that belt flew off.
Rudi, I have owned the 5.2 flat crank Shelby and, while it does sound really nice at 8,000 RPM, it still did not get my blood flowing like the 427 stroker in my 66 does. Nor does it add the excitement and sheer terror if you get on it too quickly. The lack of low RPM torque in the Shelby made it a real dog to drive anywhere other than full throttle.

IME anything modular based needs a blower to be competitive. The FE needs a blower to be insane. Color me crazy.

You’ll like this one about NA version before the supercharger too.

Just so everyone knows that 7.3 Godzilla motor is in no way related to Coyotes or modular. It is a good old OHV cam in block setup.
