While looking for a fuel pump @ O'Reilly online

I was reading reviews and came across this bad one:

Pump had wrong size fittings.3 years agoThis pump was returned for refund at the store because the inlet fitting was 6/16” diameter. The online ad stated it was 3/8”.

"Here's your sign!"

If this forum can't fix it, it isn't broke.

Re: While looking for a fuel pump @ O'Reilly online

That sounds exactly like a post I made on an OReilly fuel pump. Apparently I fat-fingered the 5/16” into 6-16”. But the review is legit if read as intended. They advertised the pump as having a 3/8” connection when in reality it had a 5/16” connection.
That was the only reason I ordered it - to get one with a 3/8” connection like the 70 pump has.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Re: While looking for a fuel pump @ O'Reilly online

The fuel pump ended up not being my problem, so I never bought it. Good info to know, too bad you can't change it.
