Breant, is there an rust pitting on those? And are the shock mounts same as the Mustang?
Offline

there is some pitting as expected on a NNY part but it is minor and is fully serviceable. If you can't use them no problem. I can make plates for the mounts no problem. In the picture is the shock plates I took off my 65 T code. Not sure if it is the same as a V8 car but can't imagine it would be too far off.

Tell you what... I think I will pass on swapping the plates, but if you are not in too much of a hurry, I will throw my old ones in with the traction bars once I get them off the car. My plan is to change my springs before I go to the bash in September, but things are going slower than planned. I thinnk I will just buy a new pair unless someone can come up with a nice clean set of original Mustang plates for a 3" axle.

Kind of a ridiculous price but I bought a pair anyway - very heavy duty, no deflection with 1/2" bolts torqued up real tight. Stock style replacment plates that I had on before didn't stay flat when torqued to spec which might not have really been a big deal but bugged me. Fit and finish is top notch.
