Its 1.30Am and ive just finished Some work on my Engine Timing case cover was leaking Coolant from there i Replaced the Following Just because a $4 Gasket was leaking ![]()
New Waterpump ,Thermostat&Housing,Heater and Rad Hoses,Aluminium 3 Core Radiator,Stainless Transmission Cooler lines Edelbrock 7121 Intake Manifold,P/s &Alternator Belts,Coolant flush,New Coolant,Oil &Filter,New Spark Plugs.(some parts i had already)
Everything is Done except there is a Different plug in the rear of the manifold for the coolant hose from heater core which did not come with the Intake but there was a Blanking plug in the box.(old one is different thread)
to get the car running and test for coolant leaks over heating, oil leaks etc ive used the blanking plug in the back of intake under Carb,Blocked off the hose from the Heater core with a prestone Coolant adapted,The other hose is still going from Heater core to waterpump
My Question is is it ok to run the car untill i can get the correct fitting (plumbers pipe fitting or parts store, I want to be at the Big Mustang Show at Oakville Ford Head Quarters tomorrow morning.
Thoughts Advice welcomed as always
