Haven't see that in a long time but back in the day every medicine cabinet had one.

We never had that stuff in our cabinet when I grew up but our friends and neighbors did. If we got scratched or worse we’d go home and put Bactine on it. Sissies maybe, but they wouldn’t “fly” their bike over our jump either.

We always had iodine for cuts and such, nasty and stung like hell!

I'm a tad younger than you guys and even I received that froth of hell.

If multiple things can go wrong, the one that will go wrong will be the one that causes the most damage.
