I am going to look at another 65 convertible for sale Wednesday morning.  C code car that looks remarkably exactly like my 65 convertible, color and all.  Was running when parked.  According to the license plate date, that was in 1982!!!

I plan to bring it home if a deal can be struck.  The owner passed away years ago and the widow wants her place cleaned up. There is a Firebird there, as well.

Good luck on your chase.   Hope you can bring it home.

Good luck, after retiring, keeping one busy is a good thing.
My wife will ask "don't you have something to do in the garage".

Why not go for something completely different and get the Firebird?  Expand your horizons!  It would be a whole new learning experience.

Depending on what year, etc. I second that thought.  My neighbor was a Pontiac racer in his youth.  Campaigned as an independent and did pretty well in a '58 Pontiac and later a '69 GTO.  He used to have GTO tri power setups stacked like firewood in his barn.

The 68 Firebird looked a lot better than the Mustang.
But the adult son wanted it.

The Mustang needed inner rockers replaced.  Not for me…

Your wife did not specify “whose garage” ….did she? 😁

As long as I'm not bothering her, it doesn't matter!
