Where can a guy find a quality petcock these days? I get one use out of them before the T handle spins on the shaft on the ones I've bought lately.

 
A rad shop might have them if you can find one of those!

Solder that T handle on before installing it in the radiator. No soft parts in there, so heat won't hurt it.

I have also felt your frustration. My 66 just has a brass plug instead of a petcock.


Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.
