We got lucky and have only had strong winds and rain.  I know there are areas that have flooded but we didn’t.   Had one section of fence blow down.  I just put it back up before I head to work.  I’ll have to anchor the main post to the house.  I don’t think this post was replaced from the last storm and that’s the only reason that section blew down.

Brian (Cougarman) lives in Carabelle and went to Pensacola to weather the storm. He left his freshly painted Cougar in the garage of his brand new house when he evac’d to Pensacola.
He said he is driving home this morning. Sure hope everything is as he left it.

1.5" rain in the gauge......stuff in the yard butt....Thank-the-Lord it was a non-event at my house.
This weather is tricky....just because you live 'inland' (like Hot-lanta and other cities) doesn't mean you're safe from storm damage !!
This dude was a big'un !!
Thx for the concern guyz.....

I heard from Cougarman.  Storm missed him by 30 miles, so all is OK.

I always worry about hurricanes hitting southern Florida. My older brother Gary is the Construction Manager for the City of Fort Lauderdale and his apartment building is right on the beach. He's weathered a few, but I still worry....

Glad to hear it sounds like all our FYI family weather the storm okay.  I got word yesterday that my best friend's mom had 3' of water in her place in St. Pete.

Glad everyone is safe and ok.

Me and the wife took two generators, three propane tanks and extension cords North to drop off to a fellow co worker who is then hauling a total four generators to meet another co worker just across the Florida Georgia state line.

These generators were bought with donations from other Medtronic employees to help some of us that got hit two years ago.  Now they are going to help others.  It was nothing on our part to make the short drive and wish we could do more.

Here in Knoxville, TN we were only brushed by the storm.  We had a brief power outage and debris in the yard from the wind gusts but nothing major.  As far as water, we needed the rain we got for our dry ground.  Only about 60 miles east of us, western NC suffered a lot of damage from wind and water.  That area has many roads closed due to flooding and mud slides.  So we were lucky.

It’s crazy how much damage this storm caused and how many states it affected.   Praying for everyone that has been affected by the storm.

On Facebook I saw someone had lost their 65/66 fastback due to the storm.  It was crushed by a tree.
