MS, Mochaman and Jose made it to Las Cruces no problem.  Jose in an F-150
Don blew up, on trailer from NM back to Dallas.
Brian had to replace fuel lines and fuel pump in motel parking lot.  Apparently out of cell phone reach, not responding to texts. Hopefully back under way and will contact us when he can.  Sounded like he got bad gas from a fill-up in Tx.
Tomorrow is a shorter miles tour to Goodyear, Az from Las Cruces.

Wednesday
Las Cruces to West Phoenix
A 6 hour drive
Took 12

Cars that are not road trip ready should not participate in road trips.  This is not Freiburger and Roadkill, even though I have seen some stuff they pulled out of junkyards in better condition than what I saw today

Sounds like we won't have any trouble picking the Annual McDougal Award for most valiant effort to make the trip.

I was so nervous driving to the first Bash seems like it was Bash 3 in Texas I drove the POR-15 it had just been totally restored everything had bee removed and replaced painted or something I had only drove it 50 miles from house and back home 1 time....so I set out to Texas one morning 750 miles one way to MustangSteves house in Ovilla heck 730 of it was on I-20 Highway I was normally pulling cars over on in a patrol car. That had to be one of the best drives I ever did I really wish my Dad coulda  been with me it was his car he never got to ride in it. Years later I made the trip again to Steves with my Son Dillan he was 9 then now he is 24 now with a 2 year old little girl ....this thing has been going for a while aint it.

"Stuck" open?  Hope you were able to get back on the road again ... with no further issues.

Curious to the hear the story about the hood later.  I'm assuming it came up while driving.  Can't imagine the surprise.

1968 T-code Coupe with a 302.  Nice car, no show stopper for sure, but I like it.
