Hi everyone. I'm looking for tips/advice from people who have completed this swap. I'm picking up a 2003 irs today and am staring to plan this out. I like the idea of the prefab bracket kit out there but not willing to pay an additional $3000 for just brackets and coil overs. Any help/advice would be much appreciated. I have read some where to raise the irs cradle up into the frame people have cut off the stock rubber mounts and welded directly to brackets that bolt to the frame rails.

Little back ground on my mustang. Mustang 2 ifs and just added 2011 gt brakes to the front. Motor is a 347 with Kaase p38 heads. Looking to set car up for road racing with some weekend driving.

Your question may draw more responses in the Mustang tech section of the forum, as this section is where people post the things they have already done, and are helping others do it, too.

Have you seen Daze's irs forum?  Daze is a frequent poster here on FYIFord, but also has his own forum for irs.  Here's a link: http://irsforum.boardhost.com/viewtopic.php?id=179
