I have to love that I picked up one of the only Mustangs that has no aftermarket quarters available! Well here is to lots of extra work invloved in removing the convertable body line and making these fit. upload function for pictures is not working now just adds to my frustration for the day.

It Looks like you did a great job of fitting them on your car! A lot of extra work and I guess we all have been there a few more times than we like to remember! It will look great when it is finished! How are progressing with it?

Thanks Jerry but I cannot take credit for the quarters a friend of mine welded them in. Although I have done some other work on the car as you will see if searching the forum. Here it is as of today, front suspension on and waiting for the differential install to put her back on the ground and take it to work to finish off the underside, then onto the body.

Looks pretty dang good! What type of abrasive did you use to grind your welds down? The only thing id change would be, id have to re grind the area so that the scratches would be going with the grain not against it.
I am going to try Lehighabrasives.com next for my grinding sanding and polishing products. I've heard from several people that they really like their products and what's cool is they are a heck of alot cheaper than any other place.

A combination of Norton and 3M products were used for sanding/grinding and EVERCOAT for filler products.

Looks good I really like 3m resin fiber discs for sanding. I've been meaning to place an order with Lehighabrasives.com they have a bunch of different sanding products. And from what I've heard their products are top notch and cheap.
