I've got a brand new rear bumper and brackets, fits good along the rear, but terrible at the quarter panels, it's turned down and does not fit even with the quarter extensions, added a couple shims, looks better, does anyone have a better way to make it fit right

I'm working on the same thing.... I'm just making shims to make it the best I can

If you have aftermarket bumper brackets, it will be very difficult to align it. Even with original brackets and an aftermarket bumper, shims are typically required.
The top of the bumper ends should be parallel to the bottom of the end caps. Typically the bumper will not stick out past the end of the end caps. The end cap vertical line should follow down the bumper.

I used washers for shims on mine.
