Seems to reinforce the current condition of the dumbing down of America. Did all the contestants get a participation trophy?

That is a definite pass for me. Keep the carbon fiber stuff for all the ricers and the very expensive sports cars. Besides, that over smoothed body looks like a plastic toy model. There is absolutely no substitute for the original. JMHO.

Interesting “one off” modification.

From my perspective, on a 65/66 with standard stock sheetmetal, the proportion and placement is off.

Take a look at where the gap is located between the center and outboard lens.
It aligns with the trunk gap on 67/68.
This caught my attention immediately.

If the quarter panels were a tad wider or trunk narrowe, it would work for me.

I agree, gotta have the chrome trim.

He shouldn't be hard to find, driving that "piss yellow Chevy".......

Hate to disagree butt (TS&T)  I believe that was 2010, Ovilla Bash, Mikes crappy Grant horn switch...our first Bash and back when Sal would drive his car to the Bash.
2011 was Daze Bash in Kalispell, as I recall.
Not that any of this make a dang bit o' difference.

Yup - Daze - 2011. I remember Glen's car getting an alignment by Hakan while BB was doing some electrical work. One of the Bash's in Ovilla was where Mike's car got some heavy maintenance from the "Board of Experts" who attended.

In the late 1800's in northern Washington, a map maker was riding through the mountains when he came upon a prospector working at the edge of a creek. He asked the prospector if there was any gold in that creek. His answer became the name of the creek on the map makers map. Damfino. (it's a real place - Google it) :-)

Something that came loose might have gotten lost, but it had to lose its torque setting before it got loose.

Its impordant to me that when I axed you if you would rather be here then there so that we didn't loose our spot in line. A mind is a terrible thing to loose.

Looks great, but for the life of me, I simply cannot see why anyone would put that chin spoiler on their Mustang. To me it looks like something out of a JC Whitney catalog. JMHO.

Don't know about that, but years ago I put a 289/C4 from a 67 Fairlane and a 68 Camaro rear end into a 1950 Willys Overland. That was a real goer - and a sleeper too. Used it to go ridge running and elk hunting too. Sold it to some hippie later who was thrilled to have it. Got my use out of it.

1000 miles in a day??? Wow - I just drove 200 miles from Seattle to Portland area and my butt and back were complaining - and that was in my 2017 Explorer! Your "equipment" must be better suited to long haul drives.

I do not know how to tell something that may have been created by a computer, or what can be done with 'photoshop', AI, etc.  By why go to that extent and leave the OEM wheels?  And where is the gas filler cap located?
I am curious as to whether this is a real car, and, if so, why the builder went to this effort.

Gotta be CGI - they forgot to put the front turn signals on the lower valance.

I can almost guarantee it's NOT CGI.  CG is very expensive and this is just a commercial.  You could use CG inexpensively to eliminate badging but not completely redesign the car, especial on a moving image as she drives the car through most of the add.  Yes CG could be used to make the mods we see to the car but the CG will take up 3-4 times the entire commercial budget and why would you do that when you can simply use a different car.  It's the name, badging, and logos that would be the copyright issues not the stylings of the car as lots of Mustang appear in commercials and the body lines are not modified.

Sad truth is it's a real car and someone chose to turn a Mustang into that.

But - if it is a real car, then how can it be roadworthy (and legal) with no front turn signal lights?

I agree - the car sucks.  The first time I saw the commercial, I couldn't believe how someone would deliberately change the body so much as to remove the "Mustang" identity. Hopefully, it is in fact, CGI, and not a real car.

I'm sure Mike (Sally) would love to see the cam that goes with that crank.....He'd probably try to figure out a way to use it in his motor....bigger IS better, right Mike?
