Unfortunately I have prior commitments for May 4 so I will be unable to attend. There is a slight chance that my commitment on the 4th could vaporize. So I'm holding out on making reservations.

Last time I took the drums in the rear apart I couldn't remember how to put them back together. I even had the manual. Drums used to be second nature.

Reminds me of a time way back when I was 16. I snagged a 283 Chebby for my 66 CJ-5 engine swap. Rebuilt the 283 in the basement and when the short block was all together I figured this was the time to haul it back up the stairs. So I hauled the short block up the stairs. I had planned accordingly and placed newspapers on the kitchen table. This was to be my rest stop. I am so glad I did that too as I was about whooped once I carried the short block up the stairs. And I wonder why my back hurts.

I really like the performance of the hydro, but just can’t get around all the plumbing stuff everywhere.

My thoughts exactly. Way too many failure points. Although, like TKO said, I do like the hydro on my f-250

Hopefully that isn’t “Resell red”…‘cause that would be a quick sale. 😁

Looks more like "Arrest me Red".

It pains me (literally) to tell all that the Zilik's will not be able to make the bash. I canceled hotel reservations this morning. I hated to do that.

The issue. Middle of June I started having sciatica pain. By mid August it was getting worse. August 29 X-rays showed nothing. Sept 3 MRI showed the problem. A cyst in the L4-L5 region pressing on the spinal cord.

Procedure to deflate cyst and inject good stuff is this Thursday.

Have a great Bash

Try advancing timing until you just hear it ping under hard acceleration, then back it off 1-2 degrees.

If you change springs to allow earlier or later full advance, you’ll have to do it all over again.

Some camshaft manufacturers have a suggested initial timing in install instructions.

The problem with the "Just Hear It Ping" method is that some of us can't hear.

Anchor brand may be better. What year Mustang? The 67's take a different mount that is no longer produced.

Well a new TFI module did the trick. Started right up again. Put the new coil and took it for a spin.
Tightened the water pump bolts. Will see if it still leaks.

Excellent. Now please come and Thrash my 67 for me.
