This is what I came up with to convert the washer pump to electric. Mounted a universal starter switch from Autozone to the peddle assembly. The body of the switch is threaded to allow for adjustment.
It should allow for the wiper functions to work normally and closes the pump switch when the peddle is depressed most of the way. I searched quite a bit and did not find many ideas on this so if it has been covered this way go ahead and yell at me..........
Just got started working on the 67 again after getting it painted 2 yrs ago. It is going on a 12 yr proiect so far and I hope to finish it this summer. Daily life seems to get in the way.

I did something similiar a while back. But I tapped into the original harness from the foot pump to activate the pump when the foot pedal is pressed. Works great.

Just out of curiosity. Why do you want to change from the foot pump? I have always felt that it is a supremely simple and effective way to deliver fluid and cause the wipers to swipe.
I have had to change multiple electric pumps on my other modern vehicles over the years, but 40 years later, the Mustang foot pump just keeps on working every time.

I have owned 3 '67 mustangs and I was only able to get the stock washer pump working on 1 of them. Granted, thats the only one that I pulled completely apart. Thet stock diaphrams can get pretty brittle and dry after 40+ years and I am not aware of any aftermarket replacement for that or the valve.
I also like the ability to spray more fluid than the short squirt the factory pump provides.
This electric pump & switch option looks like a winner to me.
Using the starter switch looks like a clean install with minimal interferrance to the stock wiring. I am interested in how commish10 wired in a pump through the existing switch.
