    Dumb question :: but how to work the defrost!!! ?

    65 mustang. I am gonna break down and ask how this heater box controls operate .. I am so confused

    I rebuilt it and re-installed . I’ve seen the inside doors but still haven’t put it together

    Help

    If it aint broke, I have'nt tried to "Fix" it yet!

    All the flapper door does is divert the flow of air either to the defroster or your 10 little piggies....

    If you open passenger vent door, you can see how it goes from “vent” to “through heater assembly”.  Defrost/floor you can observe at floor firewall.  Third is blend cold/hot... that is the one on top of heater assembly.

    BTW not a dumb question...sometimes I have to play with controls to remember which lever does what each spring😂
