I am just about to get the A/C re gassed in my 66 Coupe and converting from R12 to 134.
Anyone have an idea on how much refrigerant it requires?

I do not know about the R134a, but my 66 with R-12 took exactly two 12 ounce cans. I doubt they are equal, though.

IIRC, the R134 charge is approximately 80% of the R12 capacity......best to google to confirm....
