Canning the fruit jar, take 2....

Converting 1966 Master cylinder to 1967, drums all around)

So far, I bench bled the new MC and installed it.
Started bending the lines to make them look 'cool'

My question is about the plug for the extra hole on the dist. block.
(Where the rear brake line USED to go)

Will a simple brass plug do, or do I need something with the inverted flare?
Also, what is the thread size / count?
I am having trouble locating this piece of the puzzle.

Thanks!

Re: Canning the fruit jar, take 2....

I think I found your part at Autozone.  If it is not right, you may find it by searching Dorman.  The link gives you the Dorman part number if you can't find it locally.

This is the only plug that will work - I think.

Pete,
When I did mine I replaced the distribution block with an inverted flare T from Advance Auto.

Thanks for the help, guys!

BillyC, I am still considering doing that, depends on how badly I destroy the block.
