brake booster

Can a Fox body mustang brake booster be installed on a 67 ?  and will it give me more clearance to the shock tower and also the driverside valve cover ?

Reason i'm asking is clearance from my ranger master cylinder to shock tower is super tight and booster to valve cover pretty tight on my 351w.

I hard the fox booster is tigher to fire wall and gives more room.

I'm currently running bendix master and 92 Ranger aluminum master cylinder.

Re: brake booster

The fox Mustang booster can be made to work, but the input shaft for the booster is wrong length to connect to the pedal.  Best setup is Bendix 67-69 booster with correct 67-69 power brake pedal.  Try some shims under the bottom booster studs to angle the booster upwards just a tad to give more tower clearance.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.
