weather seals and body gaskets

any recommendations on the best weather seals and rubber body gaskets brands and suppliers. I need to replace all the seals and rubber window gaskets on 66 mustang coupe.  My experience with my 1950 F2 truck was the seals lasted about 2 years in Texas sun. There is Metro Supersoft, Steele Rubber Products and the mustang supply house stuff.

Re: weather seals and body gaskets

I've had good experience using the Daniel Carpenter brand. Many mustang suppliers stock that brand.

Re: weather seals and body gaskets

Daniel Carpenter by and large produces really nice stuff.  A lot is made off original tooling and is Ford licensed.  In terms of quality its probably about the best.  Sometimes you can still find some NOS stuff, but they typically want a fortune for it and how was it stored for the last 50 years?

This might help, too.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Not sure it helps for mustangs, no products listed under this site. However, his brother by another mother Daniel Carpenter has what we need....
