Waiting on my new third member being built by Strange.

Steve ... I think you're missing the second member as well.
Bob ... Have you decided what your second member's gunna be?
Offline
MS....concerning your "vibration-from-Hell "......you ever looked into different pilot bearings?

Barry I'm waffling between installing the innards from a 4R70W into my AOD, or just using an AOD and controller. In the meantime I'm putting the FMX back in with 2.50 gears. I'm swapping the third member tonight. I was happy with its performance before I had the torque converter to flex plate clearance (or lack thereof) issue. The higher stall TC should be here tomorrow.

Thanks for the pics CoupeDaddy. Sure is good to see it sitting in the sunshine!!
I’m not sure what you guys are worried about!!!!
Still waiting on short block. Once home and assembled with heads, will be measuring to purchase new push rods that will take about a week to get here! Still want to dyno it. Much easier to fix a problem on the stand that after its show horned back into the car. Timing will be the problem.
Got those little plates to weld in on both sides and the crack in the shock tower. New roller perches are there to be installed too.
And wrap it all up with a new oil pressure and temp gauge installation.

What Bolted said. I gave up and took it to the engine shop. I’m at their mercy which he says won’t happen. If it does, I still have to align it and fix the ac.

Nice pics Coupe.
Thanks to everyone else, I don’t feel nearly as bad.😁
Now where did I put that steering column?

Bob,
How tall is your cribbing? Is it all screwed together for a single hight?

Gimme a break! Pilot bearings, flywheels, engines, transmissions, rear ends, brakes, Everything has been replaced at least twice.
Hoping this entire new rear end assembly does the trick. If not, the Atlantic Ocean surf should put it away for good.

John, It bums me to see no engine under the bonnet. Nice and clean in there and the reinforcement plates should help. Here's hoping that you get an engine built and installed for the bash.
I'm also amazed at how much rust has formed on your discs as mine can sit up here for 20 years and look brand new.

It's 11 inches, and yes, screwed together for single height. Another row of two bys would be better.

Do any of the stock ride height Mustangs have vibration issues, or is it just us with lowered cars?

I don't think vibration issues are limited to lowered cars. Modified cars have them too. I have a slight vibration in my 67 that I have never been able to get rid of. Some say it's because of the T5. I have measured drive line angles till I'm blue and it all checks out OK. Vibration only happens on coasting or where little power is needed to maintain speed on a slight downhill. Drives me nuts at times and someday it will break and I'll know what the cause was.

Up on blocks with no motor holds little joy for me either. But I’m working at it!! Lots of humidity around here too. I now live within a mile of a lake, so the condensation is dripping off everything around here in the mornings.

Oh yes, I remember. We caught a decent day and put a DEF heater in the almost son-in-laws truck.
Hope you guys didn’t catch Sheryl’s cold from the night we had dinner!! It hit me hard Friday night/ Saturday morning when we stayed over in Lake Charles. The last 2-1/2 hours home was tough. We made it home about 1:30 Saturday, then slept till 9 the Sunday morning.

My reverse lights now work. One more thing checked off the list.
Frigging hoses/ducts supplied with the A/C kit are too short for the left and right vents. Rock auto sending more.
