Before I sold my 68 GT500KR, I ordered a new hood from Maier Racing. The hood showed up after the car was gone. Maier is the only one who makes a high quality exact reproduction of the original hood. It has the fiberglass structure in it like the original. I had them build it without the ram air plenum so I could run a Cobra air cleaner instead of the ram air stock air cleaner.
The hood is brand new, still has the packing pads and tape on the corners.
Would be great as a replacement hood for a Shelby or to build a clone.
I paid over $1,000 for it. For sale for $650 OBO
