I watched a video of guy restoring a Cougar, he put in plates because the shock Tower were cracked.
They looked like in the Picture .Mine are not cracked in the 73, is it Worth doing to prevent further cracks ?

I've only ever seen them for cars to 1970. I don't know much about the 71-73 cars, butt I think they are already strengthened from the factory.

Ahh taht could be a reason why I couldnt find anything regarding the 71-73 cars. Maybe its overkill to fabricate this ones and install them.

Its not going to hurt anything. But any such reinforcements are only going to be marginally effective without some form of upper shock tower bracing, and what you really need for chassis stiffening is subframe connectors. If you want it to handle well and predictably that's where you need to start.

Global West subframe connectors are installed :-) Im probably gonna fab a DIY Shock tower brace.
