New Horse at the stable

I came across this 66' and I think it was too good to pass up, so I went ahead and bought it.  It's all there, motor is a 5.0 roller that was pulled out to paint.  Guy says it ran, so I'm crossing my fingers.  If not I have a stout 289 ready. Has the known cowl rust.  little leak in the trunk. Rear panel looks like it was hit before, not too bad.  New seat covers, still have driver side to do.

Looks pretty solid. Should be a fun project.

If this forum can't fix it, it isn't broke.

Re: New Horse at the stable

Congratulations on the purchase!
That car looks a whole lot better than mine when I bought it 18 years ago. My car was in a real bad way. The brakes were even seized on and the car slid off the truck when my horse was delivered to its new stable.

Looks pretty  good ,  Oscar.  I like the color, close to ours ,  just a shade or two off, I  think .

I was told tranny is a C4.  Looks like it from pan shape.
