I wonder how many of the other brand's stuff was made by the same manufacturer? Mine are all really old and one pair may be China made.

I just checked the ones I have. They have a Sears tag on them, and the number is 60119. I got them years ago - from Sears....wonder if they will be having a recall? Regardless, I have been using them for quite a number of years with no problems. Like Clint Eastwood said "A man's got to know his limitations". Be careful when using those jack stands and know their limitations.

Ya'll are very welcome, glad to get the word out! I have a pair of the 61197 and have been under my Lightning a LOT as of late getting it running. Very scary.
