Are all Intake Manifold plates the same?

The top plate that goes on 86-93 mustang 5.0 Upper intake.  Usually says "5.0 HO" scribed.

Are those the same across all upper intakes... stock, gt40 upper intake?

thank you

Re: Are all Intake Manifold plates the same?

Like most things Ford the answer is: kind of.

All Mustang 5.0 plaques are the same to '93.  The '94-'95 ones are different.  The '93 Cobra, which uses its own intake is also different.  The tubular GT40 used a unique plaque.  The cast GT40 uses the same plaque as the Fox Mustang.

crap. that means I gave my plate away.  I have the gt40 upper intake, the one from the explorer.  should be the same as the fox body.

Yes.  They're easy to find.  All over eBay, etc.
