69 mustang and short people

I remember looking at a 69 mustang almost 30 years ago.
When I sat in it, yeah seats were worn, I felt like I had to slide under the steering wheel to reach the gas pedal.
Looking out of windshield is another thing.

I know I’ve slept since then.
Am I remembering this correctly?

How can a vertically challenged person get around this?
I’m 5’6” and shrinking😁
I have plenty of 2x4’s on hand😂😂😂

Re: 69 mustang and short people

I once was 6’5”  not so much now. Surgery, arthritis and time have taken 3” away.
For the vertically challenged there are always special shoes and butt enhancement.

That will work. The TMI's take all extra room away. I sure spent a lot of money proving that. I now have 2011 seats in my 67 and the skinny pedal is still just awkward, ergonomically lacking. The brake pedal is awesome and the clutch takes a good reach of the toes to get all the way to the floor.

Is it normal to have to push the clutch pedal to the floor?
