AC Fittings

Now I have to get my AC system back up.  I bought the crimping tool but am seeing wildly varying prices at various places for the o-ring female fittings, a 90 degree splicer and the hose.

So I have to ask - can someone recommend a good place to buy from?

I'll need a couple of 45 deg fittings with service ports (1 for #10 hose, 1 for #8 hose), a 45 deg fitting without service port for #8 hose and a 90 deg beadlock splice for #8 hose.  Also will need about 4 feet of #8 hose and about 6 feet of #10 hose.

Thanks!

Re: AC Fittings

I am still sorting some things out before doing my a/c, therefore I haven’t ordered anything yet.

Take a look at www.coldhose.com

They have a great online catalog with various types of connections (reg, reduced, flared, spring type, etc) and hoses (regular and reduced barrier) as well as hose kits w/fittings.

Re: AC Fittings

I bought mine from coldhose.com. As NOS681 says, their online catalog has excellent diagrams of all of the fittings. A buddy has the crimping tools and he let me borrow them.

Re: AC Fittings

I buy mine from Andy @ A Plus Rod & Kustom 812-897-6605.  They are one of Vintage Air's largest distributors and are very knowledgeable.
