The guy i talk to at Napa said Moog was sold and is all chinese crap now and recommended Proforged (they dont make the lower a arm ball joint set up) so should i just get Moog? I look them up Proforged they are made in taiwan but are used by hotchkins suspension company and they said they are good stuff. Any advice on other companys that are good ect is appreciated. Thanks! My car is a 65 Mustang.

I think it's fine and well to not want China stuff but some things are impossible to not get from them. Some airplanes and airplane engines are made in China. Repairing would be impossible with going to China for parts. The Moog parts have been manufactured in China quite a while. They seem OK except for the Wuhan mixed in the metallurgy. Another option would be to rebuild the originals.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
